contents <p>Supplemental apatite fission track (AFT) zircon (U-Th)/He (ZHe), and zircon fission track (ZFT) data from the central Appalachians from our study titled: <span>Thermal and structural reconstruction of an eroded foreland basin: central Appalachian Basin, USA</span>. This metadata provides all relevant thermal data as well as LA-ICPMS, isotopic, and statistical data for each of our analyzed samples. We present modern thermal data from Paleozoic sandstones from the central Appalachian foreland basin and fold-thrust belt used to build a comprehensive time-temperature history of this region modeled using HeFTy. The dataset provides comprehensive data for each sample as well as detailed information on each analyzed grain within samples. Tables within each thermal section also provide relevant sample summary information and exact input data to replicate data plots and models detailed in our study.</p>
