contents
This thesis proposes that gravity is not an attractive force between masses but an emergent phenomenon resulting from energy density gradients within a non-viscous field – the dynamic properties of empty space. Matter is condensed energy—localised excitations that create deficits in the ambient vacuum energy density. Gravity is the restorative pressure of the field seeking equilibrium, pushing objects toward regions of lower energy density rather than masses pulling on one another.

The framework preserves Newtonian mathematics (F = GMm/r²) while providing mechanism. It addresses the hierarchy problem (why gravity is 10³⁶ times weaker than electromagnetism), avoids Le Sage's fatal flaws through non-viscous field specification, and matches General Relativity's light bending predictions via variable refractive index. The thesis connects to Superfluid Vacuum Theory, Stochastic Electrodynamics, and Sakharov-Puthoff gravity models.

A key prediction: atmospheric voltage gradients are the inverse expression of gravitational gradients. Rapid pressure drops create voltage spikes; the insulating tropopause holds charge until rain provides a discharge path. This explains lightning as equilibrium restoration and predicts correlation with rate of pressure change rather than ice content.

Five experimental protocols with differential predictions are proposed. The framework stands or falls on empirical test. The full theoretical derivation from first principles is presented in the companion paper "Hydrodynamic Quantum Gravity: Theoretical Foundations."

Discussion and feedback: https://github.com/Gptham123456/Hydrodynamic-Quantum-Gravity/discussions
