contents <p>The raw data consist of records of bird use of artificial perches in a degraded area of the Atlantic Forest, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Data were collected through direct field observations at 10 artificial perches over 22 non-consecutive days during the dry season, totaling 258 hours of sampling. Observations were conducted continuously from 6:00 to 18:00. For each recorded landing, the date, time, bird species, and number of records were noted.
