- <p>Abstract<br>This paper challenges the conventional Eurocentric narrative of the "discovery" of Australia and New Zealand. By employing a multi-disciplinary engineering approach, we analyze technological clusters (maritime logistics, woodworking, and metallurgy) alongside linguistic and genetic data. We identify three distinct waves of Asian contact—4,000 BP, 2,200 BP (Han Dynasty), and 13th–15th centuries CE (Yuan and Ming Dynasties). The presence of identical technological "blueprints" and linguistic roots confirms that Australia and New Zealand were integrated into the Asian socio-economic sphere long before European arrival.</p>
