contents
Weformalize “truth” and “false information” as computational states of a physical system operating
under the MetaTime Principle of Computational Action Minimization (PCAM) [? ]. In this framing,
truth corresponds to bare-metal execution: an internal model that matches the system’s causal state,
enabling maximal compressibility (algorithmic description length) [? ? ] and minimal corrective work.
False information corresponds to a nested simulation: an internally maintained virtual machine (VM)
whose state must remain consistent both with the host reality and with the fabricated narrative,
requiring persistent exception-handling, memory residency, and synchronization overhead. We
propose that sustained false information induces an effective “inertial mass” in the information
processing dynamics of the node, manifesting as systemic lag, elevated metabolic/energetic dissipation,
and reduced predictive efficiency. We introduce a toy “decompression bomb” case study: a small,
high-level claim that expands into explosive bookkeeping requirements when validated against the
base system, forcing PCAM-driven termination mechanisms (“kill processes”) to reclaim bounded
resources. The result is a cold, non-moral conservation statement: honesty is thermodynamic
streamlining; lying is flow drag
