- <p>Происхождение "ведьминой метлы" у сосны обыкновенной является спорным. В результате опытов по индуцированному мутагенезу при воздействии НДММ на семена были получены два мутанта типа "ведьмина метла". Цитогенетические исследования выявили существенные нарушения в ходе митотических делений. У 1% клеток обнаружена добавочная хромосома. Обосновывается мутантное происхождение ведьминой метлы. </p> <p>Origin of "witches' broom" in Scotch pine is a disputable problem. Two plants of the witches' broom types in Scotch pine have been obtained as a result of authors' research on the indused mutagenesis. Varios disturbalances during mitotic divisions were observed in the meristem of growing needles of mutants, one or two percent of cells had one accessory chromosome. Recent investigations permite substantiating the possibility to form "witches' broom" by mutant method.</p>
