| contents | <p>ABSTRACT<br>The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education has<br>encouraged various learning innovations, including AI-based<br>learning simulations. This study aims to analyze the effect of using<br>AI for learning simulations on student learning engagement at<br>Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. This research employed a<br>quantitative approach with a causal associative research design.<br>Data were collected through a survey method by distributing<br>questionnaires to students using probability sampling with a<br>simple random sampling technique. The collected data were<br>analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results<br>indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for learning<br>simulations has a positive and significant effect on student<br>learning engagement, suggesting that AI utilization can serve as<br>an effective learning strategy to enhance student engagement in<br>higher education.<br>Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Learning Engagement, Higher<br>Education</p> |
