  • Plastic waste dispersed across various environmental compartments represents one of the most concerning issues associated with human activities. Much of this plastic litter originates from the improper management of waste from various productive sectors such as agriculture, industry, and tourism. Among these sectors, greenhouse agriculture has significantly contributed to national economies, notably in the Spanish province of Almería, (which boasted the world's largest greenhouse area in 2018).
