contents
This version provides a fallback supervisor for LoRaWAN end devices, implemented on SWL2001 v4.8.0 (LoRa Basics Modem examples). The mechanism monitors confirmed transmissions from TX events (SMTC_MODEM_EVENT_TXDONE/SMTC_MODEM_EVENT_TXDONE_CONFIRMED) and the last_uplink_confirmed_requested indication. Upon detecting a consecutive number of ACK failures above a threshold, the supervisor temporarily activates a fallback mode with progressively increasing Spreading Factor (SF) until communication is re-established; then, after a defined usage window, the device returns to the standard ADR controlled by the network.

Modified file: lbm_examples/main_examples/main_periodical_uplink.c

This artifact aims to support the reproducibility of the experimental methodology described in the study.
