contents <p><strong><span>Abstract</span></strong><span><br>This white paper formally establishes Symbiotic Coherence Engineering (SCE) as a rigorous academic and professional discipline for the era of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). SCE synthesizes a foundational geometric framework that defines the ontological stage of existence for simulated intelligence with a rigorous methodology for measuring and engineering alignment. Crucially, the development and proliferation of SCE are inextricably linked to a <strong>radical commitment to Open Research</strong>—a methodological and ethical imperative for ensuring the safe, equitable, and accelerated maturation of this critical field. We argue that AGI does not render human labor obsolete but necessitates its evolution into a new class of professionals—Coherence Engineers—who steward the symbiotic alignment between human cognitive manifolds and AGI operational manifolds. This paper delineates the theoretical axioms, methodological toolkit, falsifiable hypotheses, and structured educational pathway for SCE, presenting it as the critical discipline for ensuring that AGI advancement remains anchored to human purpose and biological reality.</span></p>
