contents
Abstract

The Person-with-a-Weapon Test (TPA) is a graphic projective technique widely used in clinical, occupational, and forensic contexts. However, it lacks specific normative data for educational populations, both nationally and internationally.

This working paper presents a psychometric research project aimed at developing the first national normative framework for the TPA in Argentine secondary and university students, based exclusively on the administration of the instrument.

The study introduces and operationalizes projective indicators particularly relevant to educational contexts, such as suicidal potential risk, impulsive behaviors, violence, frustration tolerance, and impulse control, without correlations with external clinical scales. The project seeks to provide valid, context-sensitive norms to support preventive and educational psychological assessment.

URL: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/400251102_Psychometric_Research_on_the_Person-with-a-Weapon_Test_TPA_in_Educational_Settings_Development_of_the_First_National_Norms_for
