This stage focused on finalising paper 1 (see report005),</p> <p>which included analysis of the Al Balad (SAU) case study model and comparative analysis</p> <p>of Al Balad, Al Fahidi and Masdar sites. Aside from this, the findings from initial typology-</p> <p>based and later case study-based optimisation algorithm were discussed with the design</p> <p>team and a new strategy that combines both was devised. The following sections</p> <p>summarise key findings from the paper, Al Balad analysis and outline the agreed</p> <p>optimisation strategy.</p>
