  • <p><span lang="EN-US">The purpose of the research is to analyze and design a SaaS IoT Smart Security business model to support project sustainability at PT. X. The National Criminal Information Center of POLRI recorded 129,882 crime cases in Indonesia during the period January-April 2024, an increase of 23% compared to cases in 2022 (105,646 cases). This research uses a quantitative approach, with data from interviews, observations, and online questionnaires of 125 respondents and uses Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis. The analysis showed that 90% of respondents had been victims of crime, with theft being the most common type of crime (68%). Although 60% of respondents are familiar with IoT and 71.2% are interested in implementing, concerns related to data security, privacy are still high (58.8%). This research resulted in a structured, comprehensive business model, and identified great potential for the IoT Smart Security project. People have a high level of concern for security and need innovative and affordable solutions. The implementation of strategies based on BMC and SWOT can increase the chances of success of the IoT smart security project and achieve the desired business goals. Furthermore, the research also highlights the importance of continuous innovation, customer education, data security assurance, package diversification and collaboration, as well as optimization and monitoring to build customer trust and loyalty, and for long-term success.The impact on society is that it can minimize the potential for crime in society, provide a sense of comfort, security, and help prevent greater losses in the long term. </span></p>
