contents
This work presents a theoretical study of a classical acousto-optic interferometric system in which digital information is mapped onto an acoustic field propagating in air. Using standard interferometry and acousto-optic principles, the paper outlines how phase and intensity modulations of a laser beam can be used to encode and retrieve binary data.

The analysis is entirely classical and does not involve quantum coherence, superposition, or entanglement. No experimental measurements are reported; all results are based on analytical reasoning and order-of-magnitude estimates intended to demonstrate physical plausibility.

Information loss in the system arises naturally from acoustic propagation and dissipation, which is discussed as a macroscopic analogy to decoherence. The proposed framework is meant as a conceptual foundation that may guide future numerical simulations or experimental implementations.
