Tirant lo Blanch.

The present study presents a first attempt in simulating the functioning of a detailed protocol aimed at monitoring employee´s danger of suffering mobbing behaviors at the workplace. Mobbing was understood as a complex process in which 7 stages are involved and three dimensions from the individual and work context are considered to estimate mobbing impact: (1) work performance, (2) health at risk, and (3) triggers. Data was simulated for 18 variables using both quantitative (psychometric testing) and qualitative techniques (e.g., profile matchings of triggers) to acknowledge the range of multidata analyses that the protocol could yield. Primary results indicate that this protocol might provide ample and visual data range to detect false positive and negative alleged mobbed workers. In addition, its procedural approach can anticipate social support on time to real mobbed workers to avoid severe impacts. Study limitations and comments for future research are finally indicated.

To request FULL ARTICLE please contact: einfante@us.es
