| contents | <p>Abstract<br>Procurement risk management has become increasingly critical for organizations operating in<br>volatile and uncertain business environments, particularly in developing economies. This study<br>examined the impact of procurement risk management on supply chain continuity in CSS Group<br>of Company, Karu, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. The study adopted a quantitative research design and<br>utilized primary data collected through structured questionnaires administered to procurement,<br>logistics, and operations staff of the company. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were<br>employed to analyze the data. The findings revealed that CSS Group of Company actively<br>practices procurement risk management through supplier diversification, risk identification,<br>contract safeguards, and continuous risk monitoring. The results further showed a significant and<br>positive relationship between procurement risk management and supply chain continuity,<br>indicating that effective risk management reduces operational disruptions and enhances supply<br>stability. The study concludes that procurement risk management is a strategic tool for sustaining<br>uninterrupted supply chain operations. It recommends the institutionalization of structured risk<br>assessment frameworks, supplier diversification, and the adoption of digital procurement systems<br>to enhance supply chain resilience.
