  • <p><em><span>Physical Education (PE) plays a crucial role in the holistic development of individuals by promoting physical fitness, mental health, social skills, and lifelong healthy behaviours. However, the quality and implementation of PE programs are shaped by multiple external factors, including educational systems, political decisions, cultural values, religious beliefs, and economic conditions. This paper critically examines how these five dimensions influence physical education across different societies. Understanding these influences is essential for designing inclusive, equitable, and effective PE programs that support both educational and public health objectives.</span></em></p>
