contents
The core of this theory proposes a fundamental revision of modern cosmology by asserting that the fabric of space-time is not undergoing volumetric expansion, as interpreted by conventional physics. Instead, the thesis establishes that only the temporal dimension is in a state of constant and accelerated expansion. In this perspective, what we perceive as the distancing between galaxies and the redshift of light is not the result of the creation of new physical space, but rather the increase of temporal density over the rigid substrate. Time is defined here as a physical quantity of pressure that expands through the three spatial dimensions, which remain static and immutable. The applied mathematical calculations prove that gravity and inertia are, in fact, forms of retention resistance to the passage of this expanding temporal flow. By demonstrating that the rate of time expansion is an absolute constant called the Expansion Unit One, the article resolves the discrepancy of dark energy without the need for hidden forces, attributing cosmic acceleration to the very nature of time itself. This approach transforms physics by treating time not merely as a measure of succession, but as the primary kinetic energy of the universe that pushes matter through the substrate. The mathematical proof of this theory lies in the stability of large-scale systems, where the probability of a universe in spatial expansion maintaining the observed cohesion is only one in two trillion, validating the Unidimensional Expansion of Time as the only logically consistent explanation.
