- <p>This paper presents Yellowstone National Park’s hydrothermal systems as a macroscopic<br>natural analogy for the behavior of the space‑phase substrate proposed in the SP3<br>framework. Yellowstone contains over 10,000 hydrothermal features driven by heat from a<br>deep magmatic system, including geysers, hot springs, mudpots, and fumaroles. The<br>Yellowstone system demonstrates three core principles central to SP3: (1) substrate<br>saturation and release, (2) installation of transport corridors (plumbing pathways), and (3)<br>episodic versus continuous release governed by structural constraints. The Yellowstone<br>analogy provides a concrete visualization of how invisible underlying substrate<br>conditioning can guide visible manifestations, analogous to SP3 corridor‑guided matter and<br>radiation transport.</p>
