It is characterized by its geographic, professional, and methodological diversity, bringing together contributions from different countries and profiles, including research, critical reflections, and intervention projects.

The work is organized around four thematic axes. The first addresses community agency and digital participation, showing how technologies can strengthen collective processes, social inclusion, and symbolic emancipation. The second focuses on the relationship between technology, heritage, and digital humanities, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches to cultural research, preservation, and dissemination. The third analyzes changes in media and cultural consumption practices, especially in the post-pandemic context. The fourth examines technological mediation and training in cultural management, emphasizing the importance of critical, ethical, and creative education.

Overall, the book offers a broad and situated perspective on the intersections between culture, communication, and technology in Latin America.
