| contents | <p><strong>Súhrn </strong></p> <p>Kyselina močová (KM) je konečný degradačný produkt purínov u človeka. V organizme pôsobí ako antioxidant, problematickou vlastnosťou je však jej nízka rozpustnosť. V plazme sa pri fyziologickom pH nachádza prevažne vo forme lepšie rozpustného urátového aniónu, zatiaľ čo v moči s klesajúcim pH rastie podiel horšie rozpustnej KM.</p> <p><strong><span lang="EN-GB">Abstract</span></strong></p> <p><span lang="EN-GB">Uric acid (UA) is the final degradation product of purines in humans. It functions as an antioxidant in the body, but its low solubility is a problematic property. In plasma, at physiological pH, it is predominantly present as the more soluble urate anion, whereas in urine, the proportion of poorly soluble UA increases as pH decreases.</span></p> |
