  • <p>This work presents a modeling and optimization framework developed for the Agnirath solar race vehicle. The study formulates the vehicle’s energy dynamics by integrating solar irradiance modeling, battery state-of-charge evolution, aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, and terrain elevation profiles into a unified system model.</p> <p>A constrained optimization framework is implemented to determine optimal velocity and energy allocation strategies under physical, environmental, and battery safety constraints. The simulator supports both deterministic and stochastic solar inputs, enabling robust strategy evaluation under uncertainty.</p> <p>The framework serves as a decision-support tool for race-day strategy optimization and provides a reproducible foundation for energy-aware control design in solar-electric transportation systems.</p>
