contents
This repository accompanies the review article titled “Digital Twin-Enabled Intelligent Grid Infrastructure for Resilient and Secure Energy Transitions: A Comprehensive Review.” The repository supports open science and research transparency by providing documentation of the literature search methodology, analytical framework, and conceptual models developed in the study.

The review systematically synthesizes recent advances in digital twin (DT) technologies applied to intelligent grid infrastructure, with particular emphasis on resilience enhancement, cybersecurity integration, renewable energy forecasting, and cyber-physical system architecture. The study follows a PRISMA-aligned methodology and analyzes 127 peer-reviewed publications identified across IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and Web of Science.

Included materials document the structured search strategy, screening process, classification framework, and cross-case analytical synthesis used to develop the Digital Twin Resilience Loop (Sense–Simulate–Optimize–Act). All figures are original and created by the authors to illustrate the integrated cyber-physical operation of DT-enabled smart grids.

This repository does not contain proprietary datasets. It serves as methodological documentation and conceptual support for reproducibility, transparency, and future research development in digital twin-enabled energy systems.
