contents The coexistence of rapid supermassive black hole (SMBH) growth and intense star formation in the Epoch of Reionization (EoR, z > 6) poses a fundamental challenge to current galaxy formation models. By combining ALMA/NOEMA observations with new JWST imaging, we are now able to explore the host galaxies and surrounding environments of highly accreting SMBHs with unprecedented detail.
