  • <p>This release introduces Concept-Basin Archaeology (CBA): an instrument-first, logprob-only protocol for inferring instrument-relative geometric structure in a model’s pre-output response landscape without access to weights or activations. CBA constructs a dense shadow field from forced-choice logprob probes executed under predeclared prompt families, null families (taxonomy vs synonym vs random controls), and shock schedules (coordination pressure / constraint tightening). From this shadow field, CBA estimates geometry invariants—basin depth, directional stiffness, capture radius, and anisotropy—and includes explicit two-gate validation (Measurement Gate + Inference Gate), fork-manifest disclosure to prevent post-hoc selection, operational falsifiers, and Route-Blocker negative certificates for any missing witness or failed control.</p> <p>This release is scope-disciplined: it certifies the instrument and admissibility architecture (σ-stage) and forbids numerical claims absent hashed artifacts and issued certificates. Optional auxiliary channels (embedding/similarity) are separated into an appendix and are non-mandatory unless executed.</p>
