| contents | <p>This work presents the Informational Ontology as a structural framework describing a sequence of organizational regimes: <em>Difference, Relation, Information, Awareness, Value, Meaning, and Purpose</em><strong> (Δ → R → I → A → V → M → P)</strong>. The framework specifies structural constraints that become unavoidable under explicit conditions: differentiation, ordering, and selection under perturbation.</p> <p>The ontology is structural rather than empirical. It does not propose physical models, cognitive mechanisms, or normative prescriptions. It articulates the conditions under which systems capable of registration, differential constraint, coherent organization, and self-influencing trajectories can arise, without assuming any particular implementation.</p> <p>This document constitutes the Revision 5j of the <em>Informational Ontology</em> framework and serves as the foundational reference for a broader corpus of papers analyzing governance, failure modes, and regime transitions.<br><br>Rev 5j: Added a clarification in §4.2 specifying that primitive differentiation is not “difference between already constituted objects,” and that identity is a stabilized mode of differentiated structure under persistence and constraint. Minor wording and typesetting corrections. No changes to primitives, definitions, or regime transitions.</p> |
