contents
This study aimed to determine the influence of procrastination in performing household responsibilities on family interactions among Senior High School students of Angono National High School. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through interviews with selected Grade 11 and Grade 12 students who live with their families to understand the reasons for procrastination, and its effects on family interaction and overall relationships. The findings revealed that distractions from mobile phones, social media, academic workload, tiredness, and as well as poor time management are the factors that contributes to why students procrastinate or delay their household tasks. Results also showed that delaying responsibilities sometimes leads to misunderstandings, scolding, and minor conflicts, which may affect communication and cooperation within the family. The study concludes that improving time management, discipline, and sense of responsibility can help reduce procrastination and support more positive family interactions
