- <p>This R script creats a scatter plot to compare estimated and observed protein content of spring barley. The observed data are obtained from field experiment at 23 locations in the Canadan state of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan in 2020. The data is publicly available at: https://cmbtc.com/crop-data/2020-raw-data-barley-analysis/ (accessed March 2nd, 2026). Although data for multiple varieties are available, their average value per location is used for comparison with the model estimates. The model is bult using random forests and field measurement and experiment data from 2015 to 2023 except 2020.<br><br></p>
