- <p>This document specifies the Hyperbolic–Modular Hybrid (HMM) network generator and associated audit metrics used for structural analysis within the HMM model family �.</p> <p>HMM_Methods_Appendix_v1.pdf None</p> <p>The generator combines:</p> <p>Deterministic radial hierarchy (log-indexed popularity scaling),</p> <p>Uniform angular sampling,</p> <p>Hyperbolic-like distance proxy,</p> <p>Logistic connection probability with size-dependent scaling,</p> <p>Modular damping for cross-sector edges,</p> <p>Extraction of the largest connected component for analysis.</p> <p>The appendix also defines the computational procedures for:</p> <p>Relational Gravity (identity-based random walk capture vs. degree-preserving null),</p> <p>Diffusion entropy (normalized Shannon entropy of evolved distributions),</p> <p>Rich-club metrics (internal density, edge fractions, intra-set path length),</p> <p>Sector alignment stress testing via label permutation.</p> <p>All findings are explicitly model-dependent within the HMM generator family. This document makes no claims regarding physical gravity, consciousness, or external empirical systems beyond the defined synthetic framework.</p> <p>The purpose of this appendix is reproducibility, scope clarification, and methodological transparency.</p>
