The first mention of the feast of the Translation of Saint James the Apostle (30 December) in Córdoba Cathedral dates back to the pious endowment of Inés Enríquez in 1330. On 27 December 1443, the chapter of Córdoba Cathedral agreed that the feast of the Translation of St James the Apostle should be sung in the choir with its own texts and melodies. These texts are no longer found in the pre-Tridentine breviary (1524) and missal (1561) of the diocese of Córdoba. |
