  • <p>This repository contains simulations showing how increasing environmental noise selects for more integrated adaptive control strategies required for system persistence.</p> <p>This project presents a computational framework exploring the relationship between environmental stochasticity and the control mechanisms required for persistent adaptive systems. Simulations of bounded agents subject to drift and noise demonstrate that increasing environmental variability selects for increasingly integrated allocation of corrective resources across multiple viability dimensions. The results illustrate a structural correspondence between ecological persistence and dynamical stability in control systems, providing a quantitative model for how adaptive regulation emerges in noisy environments.</p>
