| contents |
phiTGT v6.0---Geometric Completion and Structural Constraints of Degenerate Acceleration Bundles in Scalar–Tensor Gravity :This work presents the final structural formulation of the phiTGT research series, which investigates degeneracy conditions in scalar–tensor gravity theories.
The study reformulates the degeneracy requirement as a geometric structure defined by null directions of the Lagrangian Hessian, interpreted as an acceleration bundle over configuration space. A Dirac–Bergmann constraint analysis is performed to verify that the degeneracy condition removes unwanted higher-order modes without introducing additional propagating degrees of freedom.
We further examine whether this geometric structure carries independent topological content. Under the assumption of a non-compact scalar target space (ϕ ∈ ℝ), the configuration space remains topologically trivial, and no distinct vacuum sectors or winding numbers arise. A one-loop perturbative analysis indicates that this structural triviality is preserved at the semiclassical level.
Earlier stages of the phiTGT program (v1–v4) established a phenomenologically consistent beyond-DHOST realization compatible with gravitational-wave constraints (c_T² = 1) and standard cosmological stability requirements. The present version (v6.0) provides a geometric consolidation of that framework and clarifies its domain of validity.
This document marks the formal closure of the original phiTGT research program.
|
