Unfortunately, neither Linnaeus’s (1767) description nor the description and illustration in Brünnich’s letter provide sufficient information to determine the species’ identity with certainty, nor its correct placement within Eburiini. However, we retain it in <i>Coeleburia</i> until its actual generic position within Eburiini can be properly established.</p><p>See remarks in <i>Coeleburia tetrastalacta</i> (White, 1853).</p> |
