- <p>This master's thesis explores the emotional relationships between people and places through artistic research and field observations. The research investigates the concept of "topophilia", the affective bond between people and their environments, drawing from humanistic geography and design research.</p> <p>Through interviews, field notes, and visual interpretations, the project examines how individuals construct personal meanings of place. The work documents narratives collected in several cities including Nagano, Tokyo, Berlin, and Dresden, and translates these narratives into artistic representations and diagrams.</p>
