- <p><em><span>The relationship between health and physical education is an important part of human life for overall well-being and physical as well as mental fitness. However, it is not studied by researchers so far in the field of physical education. Very few researchers have tried to focus the on the subject. Therefore, present research paper aims to discuss the benefits of physical activity for physical and mental health, the components of fitness. Role of physical education in holistic development and strategies for improving health conditions, benefits of physical education, key components of physical fitness and health promotion through physical education etc.</span></em></p> <p><em><span>The Present research paper is based only on the secondary data collected through various articles in reputed magazines, books, reference books and the published data by government agencies and finally discussed how physical education can reduces the risk of chronic diseases, improves academic performance, enhances mental well-being and develop social and cognitive skills etc.</span></em></p>
