contents
A three-dimensional reconstruction of the Centaurus A Group and M83 Filament is presented, addressing the lack of up-to-date visual representations that reflect the rapid progress in this field. Although numerous studies have refined distance measurements and catalogued newly discovered dwarf galaxies, most existing graphical visualizations of the so-called Local Sheet remain outdated or fragmentary. This project provides a comprehensive view based on published data and the continuously updated Local Volume Galaxies database, using a Cartesian framework to represent the spatial relationships between galaxies. The resulting map offers a new perspective compared to previous two-dimensional representations and highlights the increasing challenge of maintaining a consistent nomenclature and reference system. The visualization is intended both as a scientific and educational tool, providing a clearer representation of the evolving structure of the Local Universe.
