-
This article examines the diagnostics and correction of the immune status of athletes from the standpoint of modern sports medicine and exercise immunology. The paper argues that “immune status” in athletes should not be reduced to a single laboratory parameter or to a formal immunogram; rather, it should be understood as a dynamic functional state shaped by training load, competition density, recovery quality, sleep, nutrition, psychological stress, travel, and current illness burden. The article analyzes the diagnostic value and limitations of clinical surveillance, illness history, symptom monitoring, salivary immunoglobulin A, blood leukocyte profiles, inflammatory markers, and emerging biomarker panels.
