- <p>Abstract – The Discarding of the Ephemeral Conceptual Fluxus Exhibition by José Cosme The Discarding of the Ephemeral offers a critical and poetic reflection on the value of transience in contemporary art. Rooted in the aesthetics and philosophy of the Fluxus movement, José Cosme’s exhibition elevates discarded gestures, poor materials, and symbolic residues to the status of central visual language. Through installations, intervened photography, and video art, the work constructs a narrative in which ephemerality does not oppose permanence but subverts it from within, unsettling material and temporal hierarchies. Knowledge—understood as creation in action—manifests in pieces where the inorganic engages with a vital impulse. The artist reactivates Beuysian thought and brings it into the digital realm, generating a sensitive archaeology of the present that questions the boundaries between art, life, and disappearance.</p>
