Therefore, column A provides the name of the municipality, and column B the territory number. Column C indicates the affiliation of each municipality to the Russian, Austrian, and Prussian partitions/Recovered Territories. We classified communities according to the partition in which they were located in 1914 (for the Austrian, Russian, and Prussian partitions) or 1939 (for the territories incorporated into Poland in 1945). We made this classification based on the current territorial shape of the communities. 0 in column C indicates that the border between two partitions ran through the municipality.</p> |
