Any subsequent revised or formally published version will be linked here.</p> <p>This document presents a critically established text, translation, annotations, and testimonia of the <em>Daivapuruṣakārādhyāya</em> (Chapter on Fate and Human Effort) of Varāhamihira’s <em>Bṛhadyātrā</em>.</p> <p>The text derives from the author’s ongoing editorial work on Varāhamihira’s <em>yātrā</em> literature. The initial version of the critical text was prepared during the author’s MPhil research at the University of Oxford and is currently undergoing revision and expansion within the author’s doctoral research.</p> <p>The edition is based on a substantially broader manuscript corpus than that available to earlier editors.
