| contents | <p>We present a comprehensive transmitter conformance test suite for 5G New Radio (NR) physical layer implementations, covering 17 tests across four categories: output power, EVM/signal quality, spectral emissions, and waveform-specific validation. All tests are executed using a custom MATLAB simulator with no external toolbox dependencies, and results are verified against 3GPP TS 38.104 v18.10.0 (Release 18) for gNB base stations and TS 38.101-1 v17.18.0 (Release 17) for UE terminals. The test suite incorporates realistic RF front-end impairment models including PA nonlinearity, phase noise, IQ imbalance, carrier frequency offset, and carrier leakage. We compare gNB and UE requirements side-by-side, analyze state-of-the-art UE silicon RF front-ends (envelope tracking, digital pre-distortion), and discuss the extension to multi-antenna (MIMO) configurations. All 17 tests pass with the custom implementation, demonstrating compliance with 3GPP specifications.</p> |
