contents <p><strong><span lang="EN-US">Abstract </span></strong></p> <p><em><span lang="EN-US">This paper determined the user’s engagement strategies in library website in university of Maiduguri, Borno State Nigeria. The objectives of the study are to examine users’ awareness on digital library website, factors that contribute to users’ engagement in web digital library, the impact of digital library website and the challenges that users face during engagement. </span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">Quantitative research methodology was adopted for the study using s</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">urvey research design due to that fact that it is non-experimental research method. The target population for this study comprised of 670 registered users of Ramat library university of Maiduguri, Borno state.<span>  </span>248 sample was used based on<strong> </strong>Krejcie and Morgans (1970) sample table. The analysis revealed by the majority of the respondents indicated that the users are aware of the library digital website, <span>this infers all that were mention are the factors that contribute to users’ engagement with digital library website with the exception of entertainment and<strong> </strong></span>online library registration membership and also <span>result revealed that the impact of digital library website engagement by the users was to the very high extent in university of Maiduguri. </span>Recommendation were made, management of the library should create more aware awareness about library website special to the newly admitted students into the system and also the management of the library should make<strong> </strong>online library registration membership and also make more entertainment on the library website attract more users.</span></em></p>
