| contents |
This record presents the master synthesis of the Ontological Totality Functional (OTF) programme. The central claim of the programme is that physics needs a rigorous language not only for dynamics but also for physical admissibility: the conditions under which a mathematically specifiable configuration can count as physically real, stable, and in principle manifest. The OTF is proposed as a framework for that task.

The programme is organized around four connected components. OTF I develops the mathematical core of physical admissibility using gluing defects, noetic defects, admissibility functionals, and mixed category-algebra-scale fixed points. OTF II provides a first physical realization of the framework in a single phenomenological channel, namely the classicalization of primordial tensor modes under defect-controlled decoherence. OTF III interprets the resulting structure ontologically, distinguishing formal possibility, physical admissibility, and manifest physicality. OTF IV extends the framework into higher-order quantum processes and quantum causal structure, introducing a causal defect functional and showing how admissibility may constrain the emergence of definite causal order.

This master edition is not a popular overview or a manifesto. It is a programmatic synthesis that distinguishes clearly between what is formally defined, what is proved in controlled settings, what is modeled phenomenologically, and what remains open. Its unifying thesis is that mathematical consistency alone does not suffice for physical reality, and that a nontrivial admissibility filter stands between the formally possible and the physically actual. In this sense, the programme aims to articulate a disciplined form of structural realism grounded in local-to-global compatibility, accessibility constraints, and stable cross-scale organization.

This record is the synthetic reference point for the OTF series and accompanies the individual records corresponding to OTF I, OTF II, OTF III, and OTF IV.

Companion records in the OTF series:
OTF I — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19068375
OTF II — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19075284
OTF IV — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19076867
|
