The research synthesizes existing literature and empirical findings to examine how AI-driven tools, combined with culturally relevant historical content, can transform traditional pedagogy into interactive, student-centered learning environments. Findings indicate that AI technologies improve personalization, engagement, and analytical skills, while cultural heritage integration strengthens identity and contextual understanding. However, challenges such as teacher readiness, digital inequality, and ethical concerns persist. The study concludes that a balanced integration of AI and heritage-based pedagogy can significantly improve history education effectiveness in Malaysia.
