•
Objective: To study the functional state of the pituitary-ovarian system during magneto-infrared light laser therapy in patients with vulgar psoriasis. Materials and Methods: The study included 42 female patients with vulgar psoriasis aged between 20 and 40 years. The reproductive system's functional state was assessed by measuring the levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and estradiol in the blood plasma using immunological methods. The comprehensive treatment included the "MILTA-F-01" device and the topical cream "LIPICAR".Results: After 10-15 procedures of the comprehensive therapy, complete cessation of disease progression, regression of papular eruptions, and relief from itching were observed. During the exacerbation period, a significant decrease in the concentration of luteinizing hormone and estradiol in the blood plasma was noted. Conclusion: The findings indicate that patients with vulgar psoriasis experience dysfunction of the pituitary-ovarian system, which manifests as insufficiency of the ovarian follicular apparatus and luteal insufficiency.
