contents <p>Advanced Research on Smart Traffic Monitoring Systems: A Comprehensive Study of the Saher System</p> <p>Urban traffic management faces unprecedented challenges due to rapid urbanization, exponential vehicle growth, and rising road safety risks. This paper presents a comprehensive technical study and implementation framework for Smart Traffic Monitoring Systems (STMS), using the Saher Traffic Control System in Saudi Arabia as a case study. The study includes architectural design, violation detection algorithms, multi-sensor fusion, AI predictive models, and quantitative performance evaluation. Simulation results demonstrate high performance in detecting violations, predicting traffic density, and improving traffic flow, offering practical recommendations for policymakers and traffic authorities.</p>
