Antenna with radicle dark brown; scape dark brown with a white, oblique, subapical band, which is interrupted on dorsal side, hence apical and basal dark parts are connected, and with a basal white spot; pedicel dark brown; Fl with basal 2/3 white, rest of funicle segments brown, clava brown. Body dark brown to almost black with a few lighter parts, each eye surrounded with a yellow rim, interrupted near torulus; sides of mesoscutum with yellow spots. Fore wing hyaline; venation testaceous. Legs yellow, except mid and hind coxae, which are dark brown; fore coxa orange or light brown; hind femur dark brown except apical 1/5; mid tibia with a dark spot in the basal part. Gaster varying from largely orange-brown to dark brown; visible parts of gonostyli dark brown.</p><p><i>Head.</i> Head shiny with shallow rugose to coriaceous sculpture on frontovertex (Fig. 1b,c); frontovertex about 0.45× head width; ocelli forming an angle of about 90°; eyes with fairly inconspicuous, slender pale setae; posterior ocelli separated from occipital margin by at least 1.5× distance from eye margin and occipital margin; eyes almost reaching occipital margin which is sharp; antennal toruli each separated from mouth margin by less than their own lengths, their dorsal margins above ventral eye margins; area between toruli anterior ocelus slightly convex. Mid tibial spur about 12× as long as wide and 0.36× length of mid tibia. Fore wing 2.8× as long as broad; costal cell very narrow, with proximal half well distinguished and with two lines of setae, distal half almost indistinguishable; marginal and postmarginal veins combined clearly longer than stigma vein; setation at base of fore wing and venation as in Fig. 1e.
