•
General Relativity (GR) successfully describes spacetime curvature and time dilation, and
modern optical clocks have confirmed its predictions to extraordinary precision. We propose a
minimal extension in which effective time flow includes a small contribution from local constraint
density, defined as the inverse of accessible state density. This framework introduces a correction
term to proper time that depends on local interaction rate. We derive a measurable residual
frequency shift beyond GR and estimate its magnitude to lie in the range 10−17–10−15 under
realistic laboratory conditions. This range overlaps with the sensitivity of current optical clock
systems. The model reduces to GR in the limit of vanishing coupling and is directly falsifiable
using existing clock comparison experiments.
