Beaver 1998a: 185.</p><p><b>Distribution.</b> India (Assam), Indonesia (Sumatra), East & West Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal?, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam.</p><p><b>Distribution in W. Malaysia.</b> Pahang, Selangor.</p><p><b>Hosts.</b> Usually breeding in Dipterocarpaceae but also recorded from Fagaceae (Beaver & Liu 2007). Browne (1961a) notes that the record from Fagaceae was from a montane area where dipterocarps are scarce.</p><p><b>Biology.</b> Not known.</p><p><b>Remarks.</b> The species was transferred to <i>Genyocerus</i> by Beaver (1998a). However, further study and redefinition of <i>Genyocerus</i>, indicate that it belongs in <i>Diapus</i>, to which genus it is here restored.</p> |
