| contents | <p dir="ltr">We present the first cross-correlation analysis between a kinematic dark matter halo map constructed from Gaia DR3 stellar radial velocities (500,000 stars) and a Fermi LAT gamma-ray residual (687,491 photons, 10–50 GeV, 17 years). Using velocity dispersion σ²√d as a gravitational potential proxy and subtracting the GALPROP gll_iem_v07 diffuse model, we find Spearman ρ = 0.080 with 3.3σ significance (10,000 permutation test, bootstrap 95% CI = [0.041, 0.122]). The signal is temporally stable (2.8σ + 2.6σ in independent halves), concentrated at large angular scales (ℓ = 2–20), spatially uniform (jackknife CV = 0.44), and decreases with energy consistent with the Galactic Center Excess spectrum. These properties are expected from dark matter annihilation in an NFW halo and inconsistent with instrumental artifacts. The result is below the 5σ discovery threshold and limited by simplified background subtraction.
